Evan Carlos, MD
Education & Training
Dr. Evan Carlos earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago – Stritch School of Medicine after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Washington.
He completed his urology residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, where he trained under leading experts in minimally invasive techniques for urologic cancers, kidney stones, and prostate conditions. He also completed a research fellowship focused on laser surgery for kidney stones and enlarged prostates.
Certifications & Accomplishments
Dr. Carlos is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. He has authored nearly 20 peer-reviewed publications and presented at regional, national, and international conferences.
He is skilled in robot-assisted surgery and advanced treatment options for prostate cancer, including High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and cryotherapy. Dr. Carlos is known for his patient-centered approach and dedication to improving outcomes through innovation and evidence-based care.
