Education & Training

Dr. Shane Pearce graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

He completed a six-year urology residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center, one of Illinois’ highest-volume robotic surgery programs, where he logged more than 350 robotic cases and trained with leading experts in bladder, prostate, testicular, and kidney cancer.

Following residency, he completed a two-year Society of Urologic Oncology–accredited fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Certifications & Accomplishments

Dr. Pearce is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters and teaches as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Washington State University’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine.

He is recognized for his compassionate, patient-centered approach and dedication to advancing urologic cancer care through research, innovation, and education.
